Not surprised.

The game is put on hold indefinitely since Lucas sold the rights. We can't catch a break.

Ridley_Prime
Interesting. I would prefer it be in 3rd person though just so it won't feel like Star Wars meets Call of Duty.

-Pr-
Maybe it'll have that option like Battlefront did? One can only hope...

Tzeentch._
It might have it as an option, but it won't be the primary option. Rightfully so, imo.

If they want the game to compete with CoD/Battlefield and appeal to the CoD/Battlefield, it has to be a solid shooter with solid shooting mechanics first, and a great Star Wars game second. The only shooters that work in 3rd person are cover shooters.

The other battlefronts worked fine without cover, imo. well, by cover I mean cover you can crouch behind.

They were also primarily first person shooters with the option to switch to third person, like this one will be.

A lot of people preferred the third person view, myself included, but from a competitive stand-point it's generally easier to be precise in first-person.

I honestly don't remember whether first person was the primary, so i'll take your word for it.

yeah, that's true. It was still easy enough to be decently accurate in third, though, is what I was saying. It wasn't like it played badly or anything.

Kazenji
Third person was the primary for Battlefront 1 & 2 but you could switch to whatever you liked

i was mostly third person view.
