Impediment
Lots of games have puzzles that you must solve in order to progress.

Some are incredibly easy while others are maddeningly hard.

Games like the Final Fantasy series, Resident Evil, the Legend of Zelda, God of War, Batman: Arkham Asylum/City, etc have all had some very memorable puzzles to solve.

What are some of your favorite? Your least liked? Why?

Nemesis X
I like just about almost every puzzle in the Portal games. Not because of their simplicity and are easy to solve but I like how artistic and creative they are and how they interact with the story.

My least favorite had to be the one when I played as Ashley Graham in Resident Evil 4 and I constantly bucked up and got pieces of a literal puzzle in the wrong places and was a real pain in the ass to rearrange as everything didn't go back by default when I backed out and went back in. Or maybe I'm thinking of the attic puzzle in Silent Hill Homecoming. Can't remember now no expression
