Maybe everybody else knows the answer; I'm curious to see how this would go. Presumably we're not using the so-called "Classic" Thor anymore than we're using Silver Age or Bronze Age Supergirl.

In which case I don't think there's ever been a direct comparison done between these 2. At the least, I haven't seen one.
Nor do many significant strength feats for Modern Thor come to mind.

Coming to mind now, for instance, is a shared feat in which he stopped an airplane with the help of Gladiator.

Meanwhile Supergirl has stopped planes by herself and lifted and tossed airfield hangars ...

I would love to actually see some lifting feats for Modern Thor, a lifting feat period, let alone something that would justify placing him above Supergirl.

Kara certainly outdid Thor in the plane-catching department when Loeb re-debuted her.
It's hard for me to watch Thor struggle with something Kara accomplished with such comparative ease and conclude at this point that Thor even has a dog in this show:

It may be puzzling to you, but, even ignoring that in your scans there's some weird mid-air freezing magic apparently at work there, that is probably the first instance I've seen of Thor successfully solo stopping a plane.

For the the only showing I can recall, excepting yours now, is the one mentioned before, where he stopped a plane, just barely, with the help of Gladiator:

Only Thor lifting feat I can think of was the one when he lifts Asgard with the help of Beta Ray Bill.

I'd say Thor in the categories that aren't speed.

Thor is stronger Supergirl is faster

Thor has her in durability, travel speed and power-output.

Why do people mention asgard lift to thor's lifting feat? That was OF Thor.

From what I recall, Thor was amped by the Odinforce in that instance. I am pretty sure that the thread-starter doesn't want us to use feats from amped versions of the characters here.

Ah ok then. I couldn't recall when it happened so wasn't sure if it was OF Thor or not. Same with the other scan. I put them up as the only lifting scans of his I know of off the top of my head.

As far as stronger lifting its hard to say. Some heros just don't have lifting feats like other heros. This dosent mean they are inferior to other heros lifting wise they just lack feats. Captain marvel is a example. I gaurentee he would lift more then supergirl yet he has next to no lifting feats.

CM and Supes lifted the book with infinite number of pages...

Supergirl is stronger (by a bit), and can punch harder (Thor hit's harder with Mjolnir).

Thor is barely bulletproof (bullets pelt him and leave welts and he can be cut far more easier) where bullets richochet off Supergirl with almost no loss of velocity.

I agree Thor is more durable to blasts.

Thor has better damage soak but Supergirl is harder to pierce or bruise or cut. Thor can fight better and has better power output. I try to be objective best I can.

I'd say there's a bigger gap between Thor and Superman than there is between Supergirl and Superman, but that's me.

And while I do like Thor, I prefer plenty of other characters. I don't like him enough to be biased about it.
