What are some of your favorite movies from your youth?

Are they still favorites?

Do you still like the same type/genre of movies?

Indiana Jones.

Well, I was born in '88, which was the beginning of the Disney 'really good movie' time period, when Michael Eisner was in charge. So pretty much every Disney movie, especially "The Little Mermaid" and "Beauty and the Beast."

My parents watched TCM so I also had a lot of exposure to movie musicals - all the Rogers and Hammersteins, plus stuff like "Seven Brides and Seven Brothers," "Kiss Me Kate," and "Show Boat." Also, ANYTHING with Gene Kelley in it - Singin' in the Rain, The Pirate, An American in Paris....

Also my parents had two three movie boxed sets, which I've watched over and over and over - The Original Star Wars, and the first three Indiana Jones. [Which enabled me to look at Harrison Ford at 25... which as an impressionable young girl made me a DIE HARD FAN FOREVER.
