Bale said he'd return if Nolan directed, honestly I dunno why there's such a boner with Nolan. Were the Batman movies good? Yes they were, but it's not like the guy did anything really spectacular. I found TDK boring, only good parts for me were the parts with Joker but other than that it wasn't really anything special. And I'm not sure I want Bale back as Batman unless they add subtitles so that people can actually understand Bale with his grunty batman voice. Maybe he could lip sync and we could have Kevin Conroy do the voice. And how the hell is a realistic Batman gonna fit into the movie if they do go with that kinda direction.
