TheLordofMurder
The following characters are blasted by the force of the Casket of Ancient Winters via Surturs Twilight Sword...

Out of the following, who is able to escape? Who will be trapped long enough for it to be considered a loss under forum conditions? This isnt a gauntlet and isnt in any particular order btw...

1) Superman Prime...
2) DP Tyrant...
3) Peak Power Onslaught...
4) Thanos...
5) Post Retcon Molecule (the version that faced off against Void/Sentry)...
6) Void/Sentry...
7) Mephisto outside of Hell...
8) Mephisto inside of Hell...
9) Kubik...
10) Peak Power Demogorge...

Now before anyone answers, remember, Surtur was able to do the following by focusing the power of the Casket of Ancient Winters through Twilight:

TheGodKiller
5, 8, 9, and 10 could definitely escape. 7 could possibly as well.

And lol at time being a constraint for Odin. Seems Fraction had this comic in mind when he wrote that "Time is the one thing even the All-Father can't control!" scene.

zopzop
Tyrant, Kubik, Mephisto in Hell, and Classic Demogorge escape.

Even Odin could escape it given time, Surtur himself admits this.

Question: the power of the Casket held Odin in the Heart of Asgard long enough for it to be considered a loss under forum conditions...so how does Mephisto inside or outside of Hell do it?

Let me clarify what I am asking, I want to know who could escape fast enough to not recieve a loss for the entrapment...

Odin could escape with enough time, but under forum conditions (and even in the comic itself), it would count as a loss...

I ask you the same question: how does Mephisto escape? How do you think Mephisto in Hell compares to Odin in Asgard?

TheLordofMurder
Anyone else?

Horrificus
Have to admit, this is a really "quality"casket. Probably the best on the market.

Well Mephisto in Hell almost tore the universe apart by fighting with Galactus. The thing is, he wasn't even taxed doing it. This was no mere TP battle, they were both going all out. It was Galactus that broke off first and attempted to win using an unconventional method.

IMHO, Mephisto in Hell > Odin in Asgard. This was sort of confirmed when it was stated that Hell Lords are supreme in their realms (Cytorrak laughing off 1/5 of the PF and Illyana breaking Cytorrak's enhancement in her realm).

And then Franklin Richards and Archenemy came along and disconfirmed it...

FAIL.

This was a recent 'revelation' (the Hell Lord Supremecy thing). Franklin Richards blasting him to smithereens and Archenemy took place before this.

And however long it took, it time-traveled back from the future to attack. Mephisto may be supreme in his realm, but even his relative supremacy shouldn't withstand that level of foe.

And Franklin is just Franklin.

Dafuq you smokin' boy?

Hell-Lords have always been supreme in their realms. The reason that why it takes a guy like Odin to beat Hela in her realm or Galactus to stalemate Mephisto in his realm, is because they are nigh-omnipotent within it. Only another nigh-omnipotent being is capable of matching/surpassing them in their native domain.
