Id give kilowog the slight majority. Dude has the experience and is a tank with a GL ring.

Killowog's good, but he's spent too much of his career either playing techy for the JLI, or training rookies. While Richards been right there on the front lines, honing his combat skills.

Trainer vs warrior, I'll go with the warrior most times. (And Kilowog's always been a hair below GL's like Guy and Hal, and spend most of their time in crisis situations...)

Kil has been on the front lines for the past several years. Even owning guys like Arkillo.
