An Imperial surprise attack is made on the Brentaal Star, concocted by Darth Marr himself. This ship is rumored to harbor Legendary jedi knight Satele Shan, and unparalleled warrior Jaric Kaedan. Their deaths would strike a harsh blow into the Republic, and make the war effort all the easier.
Note: Like my previous fanfic, if there is a plot hole I am not aware of please ignore it. Also, leave feedback at the end , would love to see where I went right/wrong:
"Prepare for light speed!" yelled Darth Marr. Marr was a warrior without equal in the empire, and the most prodigious as well. His prowess with the lightsaber was considered unmatched, wielding the blade of Tulak Hord himself, many tales and stories are told and re-told of his exploits. Whether or not they were hyperbolic, it mattered not, as his mere presence provided much needed morale for the empire.
"We must execute this plan perfectly," said Darth Thanaton, another young and powerful dark lord. His talents lied in sith sorcery, and is thought of as a Naga Sadow in the making.
"You need not worry," started Marr, "all is going according to plan." There plan was to intercept the lone ship, and ensue a battle. Marr and Thanaton would then board a small shuttle, and infiltrate the Brentaal Star, annihilating any and all opposition they confront. The plan seemed simple, but was far easier said than done. "Board the shuttle!" yelled Marr, and the battle had began.
Initially, the Brentaal Star was outnumbered three to one. But dropping out of hyperspace, was another large ship, coupled with an armada of small fighters. At this point, the sith were outnumbered, but their superior tactics more than evened the playing field. After a fast yet suspenseful ride, Marr and Thanaton boarded the ship, prepared for any counterattacks.
"Watch your guard," said Thanaton, in a cautious yet respectful tone.
"As should you," replied Marr, his voice sounding more condescending. As they entered deeper in the ship, they saw a large group of troops stationed nearby, accompanied by a jedi wielding a green saberstaff. Both Marr and Thanaton channeled their energy, and released twin storms of dark side lightning. The troopers and the jedi were engulfed in agony, and were reduced to charred corpses. After battling through a horde of droids, jedi, and soldiers, they came across a peculiar foe. A large droid remained stationary, resting in the middle of a large room, with four power generators shaped as columns, sitting in each corner. Thanaton released a blast of force lightning, only to have the droid retaliate with an ion blast. The two dark lords barely dodged the blast, and Marr quickly pondered what tactical approach they should take. After brief contemplation, He decided that this battle should be completed with their blades, rather than the force. Marr jumped into the fray, as the droid unleashed a barrage of blasts at Marr. He deflected them with his lightsaber, and on that note, Thanaton rushed in with his blade as well. They both lurched at the droid, only to notice that it had a powerful shield, rendering their lightsaber strikes useless.
"The generators!" remarked Thanaton, in a stern, yet somewhat excited tone. While Marr distracted the Droid, Thanaton overloaded the generators with force lightning. The Droid's shield was down, and Marr proceeded to slice off its legs, with blinding speed and precision. This battle was over, but there mission was not complete yet.
"You will make a promising sith master," stated Darth Marr.
