The final part of this short fanfic, leave any and all comments below, would seriously like some feedback.
The two lords channeled all of their rage, hatred, and power, into this epic moment. As the door in front of them crashed down, they strode upon the main bridge. Standing there was Jaric Kaedan, along with Satele Shan, sitting in a meditative trance. At this point, Marr wondered whether she was using the rare skill known as battle meditation. For her old ancestor, Bastila Shan, was also a prodigy with this technique. At this point it did not matter, however, as the battle would commence shortly. "Ah, Master Jaric Kaedan," started Marr, "and Knight Satele Shan. Your corpses shall be welcome trophies for our empire."
"That remains to be seen," replied Jaric Kaedan, in a calm and calculating mood. He was prepared, physically and mentally, for the battle that lay ahead. The two sith drew their blades, and Marr sent a blast of lightning at Master Kaedan, whom deflected it, but was clearly struggling. On that note, Satele darted towards Thanaton, with the beautiful grace of a dancer. She sent two quick lightsaber strikes at Thanaton, who easily parried them. However these were just a distracting ruse, and she sent a swift, yet powerful kick at Thanaton's chest. He was sent staggering back, and he unleashed a stream of lightning at her, slowing her approach. After another quick exchange of strikes, she disarmed her opponent, and destroyed the blade. Thanaton sent a suprisingly potent telekenetic wave of energy at Satele, and she was unable to create an ample defense, sending her flying back.
Meanwhile, The battle between Kaedan and Marr also commenced. He lurched towards Kaedan, and they had a fast flurry of perfectly calculated and masterfully executed lightsaber strikes. Both were revered blademasters, and were seemingly equal in skill. Marr threw Kaedan back with the power of the force, and started channeling his energy, prepared to unleash a cataclysmic storm of lightning. Kaedan quickly got off his feet, and charged towards Marr. To the latter's punishment, a storm of dark side lightning enveloped Kaedan. He channeled his own energy in the form of a force barrier, and attempted to deflect the lightning. Unfortunately, he was unable to block all of the energy, and he was blasted with the full power of the dark side. Engulfed with searing pain, he slumped to the floor. Satele took this time to unleash an extremely powerful force wave, which sent Marr and Thanaton flying back. In the current situation, she knew she couldn't hope to defeat her powerful adversaries.
She carried master Kaedan on her back, amplifying her strength and speed through her unmatched connection to the force. She sprinted towards the hangers, faster than she ever thought possible. Marr and Thanaton were attempting to pursue, but they were humbled by the knight's unprecedented speed. Marr let out a raging force scream, which sent a blood curdling chill down Satele's spine. She ran to her ship, and successfully escorted the injured master onto the ship as well. She used her masterful piloting to escape the battle, and retreat to her homeworld of Tython. The sith may have won the battle, but they missed the true prize.
As the two sith returned to their fleet, they were celebrated and commended. Marr outwardly projected in his emotions, inspiring fear into the crowd. He angrily let out another scream, amplified by his hate. Most of the soldiers' ears started to bleed, and one of them even fell unconscious. Laughing, Marr reported to the admiral of the fleet, "We have failed our true mission. The jedi have escaped."
"Although our most important goal is lost to us," began the admiral, the crew's attention turning to him, "we have stricken a mighty blow to the forces of the Republic. We shall win this war, and the empire shall rule the galaxy, masterminded by our all-powerful Emperor!"
