The GOP/Tea Party are, right now, acting completely crazy, in a way that could potentially devastate the country more than the great depression, and even their fighting is causing significant damage.

Quite frankly, they make Obama and the Democrats look like saints.



So, who's behind it? In who's best interest is this attempt to destroy the country? Not Obama. Not China or Europe, who'd be hit hard too. Secret conspiracy waiting in the wings to take over? Aliens?

The American people who elect those idiots time after time are responsible. After all, politicians don't represent themselves, they represent their constituents.

Well, that's the non-conspiracy answer. But the level of the tea party types is significantly beyond the norm. Surely we can come up with some more complex explanation?

The movement was clearly astroturfed from fairly early on. What if a cabal of conspirators purposefully inserted agents to be leaders in the still-forming movement, knowing they could then convince the movement's us-or-them mentality to buy into the stop-everything strategy, introduced over the last few years, and keep the government paralyzed while they act?

Or how about this: The entire Tea Party is a Democratic plot. A made-up foe who, whenever the Dem's approval starts to drop, acts as crazy as possible to make the Democrats look good by comparison. All while secretly wearing a Donkey behind closed doors.

The Tea Party are, themselves, lizard people aiming to take over! That's why they don't get how our politics work.
