We all know that it takes more power output to vaporize a piece of steel than an amount of water of twice the volume or mass.

Many here use feats of volume (affecting universes, multiverses, galaxies, planets, etc.) and many use feats of overcoming durability of certain objects or beings that have much smaller sizes (Mjolnir, Cap's shield, adamantium, Superman, etc.). Also we know it takes more power to vaporize a solid object than to break it in pieces.

So the questions are, which feats take more power output to do?:

1. Destroying a planet into all pieces no bigger than 5 mi^3 using either one continuous 10 second blast or an impact strike vs. vaporizing Mjolnir (maximum level of destruction) with the same blast concentrated on it or the same impact strike.

2. Splitting a planet in half with an impact strike vs. denting Cap's shield with the same strike.

3. Splitting a galaxy in two pieces (creating a line where it starts to separate) with a 1 hour continuous blast vs. vaporizing silver surfer with same blast. (surfer can't absorb the blast).

4. Smashing an abrams tank into pieces no bigger than iphones with one blow vs. one shotting Thing.

5. Vaporizing a star vs. vaporizing Thanos.

6. Vaporizing Silver Surfer and his board vs. Vaporizing Mjolnir.

7. Vaporizing a planet vs. Vaporizing Silver Surfer

The simple answer is that all of these feats take astronomically less power to achieve than what Odin is capable of outputting. thumb up

That doesn't answer any of the questions.
Mr. Master and others have mentioned feats on a multiversal, universal scale. Others have used high herald level beings destroying planets and such. I want to know how people feel comparing destroying big things of less durability vs. smaller things of greater durability.

IMO, I believe that if one can vaporize a planet then they can certainly do the same to Mjolnir.
