As sad as it is, Thor actually fights more effectively, with more skill, and generally uses more powerful lightning without Mjolnir. Ultimately, it depends purely on the writer (Flight can be a big advantage) but Thor's lightning would one-shot anyone up to Trans even without Mjolnir.

Then Namor dies in the ocean. He is tough and has good showings but Thor should be able to crush his skull with one hand like Ultraman did to Adam recently.

Namor has fought evenly with Thor, Herc and the Hulk underwater let's not go crazy. Thor wins in this instance though, even without weather powers.

Even without Mjolnir, Thor every time.

Thor's lightning can't one shot a high Herald without it being extreme low showing or PIS. Also Thor is not going to use lightning without Mjolnir, especially against Namor. Thor wins though

You're aware that Thor can control the power of his lightning right?

Thor could probably one-shot him if he wanted. Namor is more Thing level.

Characters have highs and lows and average showings. Thor's lows is around Thing's average level tbh. Thor's average is somewhat above Thing's average and closer to Thing's highs. Thor's highs are significantly above Thing's average (this is how people are viewing things, which is unfair).

Namor high's are clearly above Thing's average. Namor's average is a little above Thing's average. Thing's high's are a little above Namor's average but clearly below Namor's highs.

On a scale of 1-100

Thor highs=100
Thor average = 50
Thing High=50
Thing Average = 30
Namor highs=70
Namor average = 40

So taking averages Thor still beats Namor and Thing in strength but not that easily (especially Namor).

Thor should win. There might be some slight difficulty early on, but imo Thor is a good, proper tier above someone like Namor.

Namor one shotted pineapple thing and clearly superior to thing. I think most of you guys don't have much knowledge of Namor beyond his avx appearances apparently. Go look up his fights against Thor, beta Ray, surfer, black bolt, nova, hulk, sentry, wonderman and Ares, etc.

That being said, Thor for the win after a good fight

^ In all fairness, after World War Hulk, Thing has been moving on up the ranks. Almost as steep climb as Like Luke Cage after Avengers Disassembled.
