Just finished watching this future classic.
Scott Adkins is back in perfect form reprising a earlier role from a more forgettable film.
And did he bring the goods. This film reminds me of the kinds of films I grew up watching at an earlier age but without the (to quote another poster) Incredible action, no shaky cam, no quick edits, beautifuly framed, very little use of slo-mo, amazing choreography.
I went into Universal Soldier Day of Reckoning with little hopes yet was left blown away. Expendables 2 had him in it but lacked that punch.
I'm curious as to what the rest of got from this film.
