In a neutral battle ground, team DC should win (mostly because of Shathan).

Epicurus
Team 2 wins.

Do you have the scans of Shathan getting the upper hand on Spectre?

Shathan never had the upper hand on Spectre (that was Azmodus, who is Shathan's servant), here's their original encounter in Showcase #61:

Spectre only beat him by getting him to the big bang, while he did the opposite to Azmodus in the prior issue; he went to the end of the universe and trapped Azmodus in non-space non-time (After universe's destruction).

Spectre also had an encounter with Shathan post crisis, in his 3rd solo series, though Shathan was weakened there, but he still managed to give Spectre a fight.

I still viewed Spectre beating him as a very high feat for Spectre, and not really a low showing for Shathan.

After all, Shathan was utterly toying with Spectre in Hell, until Spectre pulled an ability out of his ass that not even Shathan knew about:

Spectre was just written more powerful in that scene, imo.

Yeah, i agree that it is a high showing for the spectre as opposed to a low showing for Shathan (i never said otherwise). Also it should be noted that, while Shathan was weaker than normal (due to his statement of only being able to "reconstitute this miserable form"wink, he did imply that his power grows in that realm.

thumb up I know you didn't. I just wanted to post the scene before some retard came in here and tried using the instance you initially described to low-ball Spectre.

Dayum! You convinced me. Shathan is probably the most powerful here. Who do you think wins between Shathan and Nekron?

operator616
^ I think you meant Neron (remember that Nekron is a different character).

Anyway, Shathan > Neron.

Nah, I meant Nekron from Blackest Night.

Oh old school comics and there attacks.

I'll be sure to bring this up next time Surfer's comet showings come up. Although I like how he goes the sun, to a volcano... and from a volcano to a damned big bang. Natural progression.

That's some crazy stuff there.
Spectre threw a punch that transcended hundreds of billions of light years.

Oh okay, i just thought you meant Neron because you're using him in this thread (with Shathan). My mistake.

As for you question; id put Nekron above Shathan, since he's an abstract with confirmed universal power.

I thought you said Shathan was multi universal? mhmm

operator616
^ When i said that Shathan was multi-universal, i was referring to his scale of influence, since he was able to break the break the barriers between his world (while being in control of his cosmos) and the physical-matter universe (though even that was with help).

While when i said that Nekron has "universal power" i was referring to his destructive capabilities. Even part of his power empowered Krona to a point where he was able to destroy the universe (albeit, gradually).

Those are different things, perhaps i should have been more specific.
