Sometimes I think this site focuses a little too much on the blockbuster superhero epics that we forget the very reason we love cinema.

This movie IMO is clearly the second best film of 2013 behind the great masterpiece that was 12 Years A Slave. Dare I say that Scorsese has just dropped us yet another masterpiece of his own.

This film stacks up well with his previous work and just might be DiCaprio's finest performance as of yet.

Just a very, very enjoyable experience at the cinema.

Jeez....i'm sorry if a movie such as this doesn't interest me.

I loved this film. DiCaprio was brilliant as usual.

Robtard
Thoroughly enjoyable film, so good that even Jonah Hill was decent in it.

This movie was flipping amazing, i think one of the best of all time.
leaonardo is a brilliant brilliant actor. and the best part is that it is based on a true story.

I found it to be Scorsese retreading the same ground as Goodfellas, with the same storytelling techniques he used for that as well as Casino (which was Goodfellas Goes West.) Fun in a way, but I felt like a shower afterwards. And unlike Goodfellas, where Henry Hill is forced over time to recognize the destruction of the lifestyle he chose causes to people around him, all the misery Jordan Belfort caused is kept off screen in favour of a wild part atmosphere.

(And why is the dwarf tossing shown at the beginning, but the long discussions of bringing it into the office shown in the middle, with no follow up?)

Overall, I much prefer the original Wall Street.

A good movie, a little too much drug use for my liking but we can't have everything.

This movie was badass.

I think that this movie was definitely too long, I got enough after 1 hour and a half, it could have been shorter in my opinion. Di Caprio was amazing thgough.

Interesting to watch, but I think that a job in the financial sector actually involves greater amount of working hours and less booze & drugs. Di Caprio is getting older, sadly.

'She's so hot I'd let her give me ****ing AIDS'

Possibly the greatest line ever in any film.

"I mean I had skipped the tingle phase and went straight to the drool phase. These little bastards were so strong, I discovered a whole new phase: the cerebral palsy phase."

And the scene that followed: priceless.

M+F Reviews
I loved this film. Thought it was excellent. DiCaprio again showed how good he is and thought Jonah Hill really stepped up.

I enjoyed the length of the film and to be honest felt like I could have carried on watching but maybe that's just me.
