2.)Hulkbuster vs current Diana

3.)Excalibur vs Current

No prep/bfr

Fight in an active New York.

We all know how it ends. Either in sex or Tony sends her to the kitchen. Or both; sex in the kitchen.

Branlor Swift
Wonder Woman could sick her little girlfriend to take out Tony.

No need for big Di to even appear in here

Do we really need this kind of sexist posting?

It's not funny, it's just dumb.

? In that it's annoying, yea.

It doesn't add anything to the topic, it's just you being sexist.

Stoic
Wonder Woman should beat all but the Hulkbuster suit, which could go either way. I don't think it would be a sweep for her in any suit though.

-Pr-
Guys, please be on topic.

DarkSaint85
Yeah Stoic.

Reported.

1. WW
2.IM
3. WW...I think.

confused

Iron Man wins 1 and 3 but loses 2?

I should think it would be nearly opposite;
Hulkbuster armor seems built solely for durability and sheer tank-like
firepower. Little if any maneuverability.

Meanwhile, Zod and Faora trashed world-mass-benching Superman in this month's Superman/Wonder Woman #5.

Zod even broke his arm in brief single combat.

Yet Diana held her own against both kryptonian villains simultaneously.
In fact, to judge from the artwork, she even overpowered Faora via greater
upper body strength when they grappled for Wondy's sword:

http://oi59.tinypic.com/jta25c.jpg

Bottom line, especially with her sword now as standard equipment, Diana can apply too much force too quickly to something as relatively big and bulky as Hulkbuster. She'd crack that armor like a lobster shell, even as Kara or Faora might do given similar circumstances:

http://oi60.tinypic.com/2ekswpe.jpg

I can see Tony winning in armors that allow more strategic fighting, though.

bluewaterrider
hmmm

I should perhaps make clearer that the confusion was regarding the quote and prediction by D.S.,
Iron Man wins 1 and 3 but loses 2 (in the Hulkbuster armor) was MY prediction, more or less, and ...

ah, skip it.

Instead, let me now present the full page of that sword-grappling incident so people can see it in better context:

What? The Hulk Buster took one hell of a beating and was even holding it's own against a pissed of Green Scar before the family flashback. World War Hulk was way stronger then Diana before Flashpoint much less currently. She's not cracking anything like a lobster shell.

Maybe through some quick thinking and luck she can somehow disable it (Although it seems to be pretty solid without any obvious vulnerabilities) but trying to go at it straight up will not go well for her.

I can't believe you posted a scan of Supergirl cracking some random mook armor as evidence against the Hulk Buster. no expression

Also lol at trashing world bench pressing Superman. Have we not yet realized how utterly irrelevant that is to Superman who at best is at mountain level more or less on average?

cdtm
Held his own when? In the WWH and Iron Man comics I read, Stark's armor didn't hold up well at all, once Hulk got his hands on him..

Konton
Don't really see Tony beating any Wonder Woman that isn't depowered in some way.

carver9
Tony was destroying mountains and leveling cities during his fight against WWH.

Frikcha
this is a toughie. iron man is definitely smarter then wonderwoman but he probably couldn't handle her strength. although the hulkbuster is a different story. i think round one wonderwoman would win but in round 2 iron man would. i've honestly never heard of excalibur armour so i won't comment.

Excalibur armor is the armor powered up on Excalibur's sheath, I believe..

It's supposed to be invulnerable.. Juggernaut invulnerable.

War Hulk was holding back his true force, at least according to Hulk 634:

http://oi61.tinypic.com/21dk0md.jpg

Even before that, well before the end of the World War Hulk series,
Amadeus Cho was, arguably, making the exact same point:

There's a marked difference between taking a pounding from a being venting largely unfocused rage
and swinging close quarters at random,

versus one solely interested in getting opponent out of armor.

Pounding force is not equal to straight pressure or metal rending force.

This case was fairly well-made in the Incredible Hulk #350.

Unfortunately I can only show a Portuguese version of this; perhaps Carver would be kind enough to give the English dialogue version of the following scan?
Or someone else?

(Thank you in advance to anyone who does.)

This is how I was going to reply originally.

That armor was coming apart at the seams by the time they took down Sentry building.

Lack of collateral damage is not an indication of lack of power.

That's not the only thing that made the fight interesting. Hulk and Ironman collision was affecting top tiers that was on the ground.

I'm not doubting anything that Iron Man did or didn't do.

Just stop making vague, pointless comments.

With how bad people are getting, I'm going to have to start treating any sexism as baiting, and really, I shouldn't have to.

Some light-hearted ribbing is fine. Doing it to be an ass, is something else entirely.

So Wonder Woman can level cities from a distance while fighting someone? Scan?

mmm

Diana has fewer anger issues than some people.

The only time I currently recall of where she even started to do that,
she recognized what was happening and immediately took the battle to a more deserted region ...

http://oi59.tinypic.com/123p007.jpg

carver9
The only thing I know is, this version of Ironman fought a WWH no one faced. WWH was at his angriest when he fought Ironman. Straight pissed: and Ironman held his own. Wonder Woman would have got her wig split.

bluewaterrider
Carver, man ... fair is fair.

I supplied a scan of Wonder Woman starting to bring down a city with unintended shockwaves, how about supplying the request I made earlier?

I'm all but certain you have Hulk #350 in your collection.

Help me out:

The English language version of the following, if you can, please ...

1. What's leveling a city entail?
2. Blasts can damage things from a distance.
3. How big was the city?
4. Show me iron man doing it.
5. A weaker superman did the same thing against DD.

Didn't see that, wasn't replying to your post. Diana was in the heart of the city during that scuffle. Ironman and the crew wasn't even near the city...and they took out the city as a side affect, along with a mountain...my bad, Ironman punched Hulk so hard that it took out a mountain.

http://s388.photobucket.com/user/OneDumbG0/media/Hulk%20Fights%20F-M/HulkvsIronman45.jpg.html

Collateral damage isn't even the issue...the better part of the ft is them affecting top tiers with a collision from a distance.

The first scan.

Don't see it either. Maybe the rest of the comic makes it clear but in that single page it looks just like they smashed into the ground. I certainly don't see a mountain shattering.
