Injustice-verse doesn't seem to be as high up as other ones. Like Captain Marvel got easily killed by Superman. That should never happen in any universe ever.

And Martian Manhunter was hurt by an attack that should have never hurt him.

Yeah, someone should post the scan of Cap getting killed by Superman for shits and giggles.

It's not in scan form yet that I know of. The actual Injustice comic isn't that far yet.

He murdered him in the game. Which is the same universe. Just completely tooled him.

Well yeah, duh. But it's not in comic form as of yet. SUperman's not quite the monster he is in the video game yet.

Ah, sorry then. It reminded me of the way he tooled Black Adam in DCUO. Complete curbstomp. Its strange how much Cap gets disrespected in other media. JLU pretty much paved the path for Cap getting beaten everytime, didn't it?

It's not so much that they made him a beast. They just made everyone else look weak in comparison so he could take over.

Well, Captain Atom was smashing him...to the point that it didn't even look like a fight. So, he's powerful but not the most powerful.

Why is it strange? Cap and BA aren't Superman level.

They can hang when he's fighting in character aka like a gentleman. But when he goes berserk, they're phucked.

As to the thread, if this is guy is basically an evil Superman, I'm going with him for the slight majority.

I like how Injustice Superman was the hottest shit around and prove of Clark's power. I remember people giving him the win over other heralds and treating him as basically evil Superman in a similarly powerful Universe. Until we started getting shit like vs. Captain Atom. Then suddenly he never comes up and NO WAY are power levels anything similar to canon. Makes me laugh.

Oh yeah forgot about that. Adam got the pew pew beams to the face too. Superman had been sun soaking for a long while in that one at least though.

It does seem to be a bad theme for him. He did good in Public Enemies, and other than that...I don't know of a time he's shined in media like he should.

Even in Justice League: War, they downplayed Shazam, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman a crazy amount to make Supes look like the only big gun the team had against Darkseid.

She was and then she wasn't. They showed her sometimes as a near equal to Clark, as besides him and maybe one hit from Shazam, Diana was the only person to knock Darkseid around with brute force. But most of her badassery against Darkseid was with her lasso and sword.

Superman was drained and had to recharge his power via sun, he wasn't said to be amped.

That was due to Kal's magic weakness and the fact that kryptonite was weakening him. He got KOED by Batman's rockets. He looked good compared to Superman in Return of Black Adam but it was again due to Superman's magic weakness.Originally posted by ares834

Diana's stock has been steadily rising for the last decade. Cap's declining however. What surprises me however is how much GLs have been neutered despite their commercial success.

In the DCUO trailer(which is as far as I got), Superman seemed to have been sundipping for quite a while. That whole Luthor/League battle seemed to have been going on for some time and Luthor hurt Diana just to get Superman to come back.

And when they zoomed in on Clark, he had some pretty serious stubble going on. You don't get that unless you don't shave for a while. Unless I'm missing something from the game.

And yeah, I know WW's been on the rise even though she's pretty much been able to hang with Clark and the big boys for decades. Even at the time of Injustice though, Shazam/Cap was still the same rough equal he's been to Superman since forever. In no continuity should he be able to casually overpower him and heat vision him to death. Or Clark be able to fight toe to toe with Darkseid easily and Captain Marvel get slammed around like a weak feeb.

The DCUO Blur trailer was so awesome. Superman taking all those punches to the chest and then just casually snapping Black Adam's wrist and laser beaming his forehead.

In the very beginning of the trailer, Lex announces that the constant battle had drained Superman and he went to the sun for recharging. Also Adam died from that HV shot as revealed in the tie in comic. What's even better that Superman later oneshotted everyone in the league while his power was fluctuating.

Ah. I don't remember much aside from the action parts.

It wasn't his fighting. It was how weak he was portrayed in comparison to Superman and Wonder Woman. Darkseid was getting rocked by hits from Superman and WW, but he shrugged ones off from Shazam like he wasn't even worth his time. The only people to show any actual skill in combat were Diana and Batman.

He didn't shrug off attacks from Captain Marvel. Don't know where he got that from.

In Justice League: War, Darkseid was pretty much tanking everything from everybody but Diana in the beginning. After they came together and started wearing him down, Billy's lightning finally started to have an effect.

But before that his lightning did nothing, and Darkseid tanked all of his punches except for maybe one at the end. Shazam was portrayed mainly for his magic lightning and not as a physical peer to Superman. That's clear in the film as despite Shazam and Diana being there, the only "Big Gun" referred to is Superman. And the only one to truly be able to slug it out with Darkseid is Clark. Even Diana had to use her weapons from time to time.

I don't think he had to be. From the glowing eyes and the vicious attitude, he had sun amped characteristics, not to mention he'd been by the sun for quite some time.

Well yeah. He still looked good though since he had the upperhand for most of the fight. Compare that to the JLU fight where he essentially got the asswhooping of his life. I took the KO to more of a feign that anything. When Billy said the word again he was in good shape.

Oh yeah he looked good in Return of Black Adam too. That movie was decent for its length.
