The title speaks for itself. Who takes the crown for the most deaths?

Bentley
Resurrection Man maybe?

KingD19
I think it's Mr. Immortal.

How could you consider him when overall, he isn't dead due to his immortality?

It's ridiculous when you think about it. It's like he's dying every other year or something. Marvel is running out of ideas. laughing

SamZED
Mr. Immortal. Deadpool used to kill him 5 times a day for the luls.

maxivitopowe
Sans those whose powers it is to "die"

Deadpool
Jean Grey
Gwen Stacy?

bbrem123

Lets exclude people with immortality. This thread is for people that can actually get killed. Don't consider that dying since we know they'll come back in no time at all.

Khazra Reborn
Thor has died quite a bit, but high end Asgardians (namely Thor and Odin) don't seem to adhere to the "conventional" life and death thing. Meaning, they often have a lot of personal control over returning to the land of the living.

In that case, per carver's stips, you should be banned mad

Khazra Reborn
I don't wanna be banned. mad

DarkSaint85
Dem's the breaks. Carver's will is absolute.

Khazra Reborn
I won't do it.

So no character that gives their respective company cash?

Examples?

Batman is inmortal, if DC kills him they lose on the big bucks.

DarkSaint85
Superman too.

Captain America is another.

So Batman has immortality? If he get shot in the Brain, he can live through it? You are trying to hard.

This isn't a company based thread, this is all character based. You all are really trying to hard. Just go with the flow.

So Batman is Super Human? If Wolverine slice his head off, he will be ok afterwards?

He would only decapitate a Batman-bot.

You're the one trying too hard to fit characters into your narrow definition of inmortality ahah

Mr. Inmortal was the right answer to the original question.

Lol at bot.

Mr. Immortal wasn't the right answer since he essentially isn't dead. Immortality is a way of cheating death.

He actually dies. Inmortality means you don't die, but he does. Characters can only die once unless they get resurrected, and Inmortal Man has a power to resurrect to resurrect like that. There is no different between any character that has been resurrected and Mr. Inmortal other than you not liking it ahah

KingD19
Bentley's right. He's called "Mr. Immortal", but he actually dies, then resurrects in a new body. He's not like Vandal Savage where he just keeps on going. Nobody has died as many times as he has.

Logan's died a lot though. He used to have a deal with the Angel of Death. He visited him a lot.

bluewaterrider
1. Hulk, if we include the Maestro (endless time loop)

2. Doomsday (turned hero in the Superman versus Gog saga)
DD literally evolved to the point he did by dying and resurrecting

3. Citizens of Umar's dark dimension, potentially including Hulk and Red She-Hulk ... a wishing well spell, for a time, put them into a loop of annihilation and re-birth

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Honorable Mention

Spider-Man. As Peter Parker. Original Secret Wars series.
Reduced to a charred corpse by a blast from Beyonder-empowered Doctor Doom, along with the rest of the Earth 616 heroes.
Restored when Doom, secretly desiring all the heroes to live again, subconsciously revived Colossus, who went on to save Mr. Fantastic via a regeneration chamber, and Mr. Fantastic used his knowledge and the Beyonder-provided tech to restore all the rest.

Spider-Man. As Peter Parker. Died trying to save a mother and her daughter from a falling unit containing either freon or liquid nitrogen. Visited by Thanos. Life was reviewed, including final moments, where Peter learned that, unfortunately, the girl he tried to save died, too. Fought Thanos on an ... astral plane? Ultimately, Death herself allowed Spider-Man his life back ... and the little girl, too.

Spider-Man. As Peter Parker. Heroes Reborn. All non-mutant heroes were apparently transferred to a ... pocket dimension? A side effect of a battle against the Magneto/Xavier created psychic/telekinetic menace known as Onslaught. Transferred to some type of universe where they ... encounter Galactus again for the first time? 3 times their world and they are destroyed.
They have a total of FOUR chances, though, thanks to Dr. Doom using a time machine to journey back to the pivotal pre-Galactus period of the fateful afternoon. They succeed on the final try when the brave but futile action of a girl named Rikki convinces the Silver Surfer to aid them, sacrificing his own life to stop Galactus for all time.

Spider-Man. Assuming Otto Octavius really is Spider-Man now ... note that he died at the hands of Kaine and was resurrected by the Hand ninjas.

Spider-Man. As Peter Parker. Died at the hands of Morlun. Apparently resurrected through some mystical means I still don't understand. Storyline: The Other.

Spider-Man. As Peter Parker. IF we presume that everything that makes Peter Parker Peter was transferred into Doc Ock before HIS death ...
Dubious, this one. Will be interesting to see how the Superior Spider-Man storyline is resolved.

List of known Spider-man deaths, pre-resurrection, and their cause:
-- Secret Wars (Doctor Doom, Beyonder-empowered energy bolt)
-- Thanos encounter (freon/liquid nitrogen)
-- Heroes Reborn (Galactus)
-- Heroes Reborn (Galactus)
-- Heroes Reborn (Cosmic energy well? Destroyed to stop Galactus)
-- The Other (Morlun)

KingD19
Doomsday and Umar's Citizens aren't heroes.

bluewaterrider
Forgot to add Terraxia to the list of Spider-Man slayers.

This death occurred some time during the Infinity Gem storyline, separate from the other Thanos encounter mentioned earlier ...
