Star Wars Rebels will undoubtedly ruin the Force Unleashed origin of the Alliance, with something cheesy and lame. Yet I wonder. Did the Force Unleashed introduce a new "origin" of the Alliance, and was their a different origin in pre-2008 canon?

All hope is not lost maybe starkiller and all the other tfu characters will still exist they just don't create the rebel alliance

Shaak ti, Kazdan paratus also join the alliance
