I know the first time he lost he was supposedly playing "possum" but I haven't seen the second fight. How bad was it?

Was she being Amped by a red lantern ring? the second time around, he began trying to get her to calm down and even tried to get her to join him and his mission but it only ended up making her even angrier. He tried to use his ship and his weapons on her but she still ended up beating the crap out of him after a fairly lengthy fight. She was so angry that at the end of the fight, a Red Lantern ring attached itself to her.

Technically there are two versions of Lobo in the nuDC

Yes. I recall that. The Demon also had an app in the orginal Swamp Thing. But Hellblazer was always more of a Vertigo Tittle. Not DC.
