You're a battlemaster in either the Sith, Jedi, or your own school of force users. You've mastered all 7 forms(Vaapad optional), and are at the cusp of creating your own style out of two of the lightsaber forms. What forms would you hybridize to teach to your students, and what philosophy is built around it for either light or dark side?

Juyo/Soresu.

Assuming all options are possible: Makashi and Soresu.

Juyo,Soresu,Niman,Jarkai, Ataru, and Shi coo

I liked a hybrid of Djem So and Juyo, as Djem so already has a system of defense influenced by Soresu already built in. If a guy had the stamina to mix both styles in a powerful offense, it would be really hard to stop. It'd be a dark side style of course, like Ulic's, Maul's, and Kun's styles on steroids.

Nephthys
Makashi and Djem So. Use the positioning, footwork and precision of Makashi to get into the optimal place to unleash devastating physical blows at the enemies weakpoint.

Emperordmb
Form VII, Form V, and Form III

NTJack0
Makashi and Djem So, would be devastating if used properly.

DarthAnt66
All of them.

I agree with you Carthage a Juyo and Djem So mix would be incredibly powerful and by far the most offensive form you could employ.

Nalaniel
Makashi and Soresu.

That would be interesting and though Makashi's inherent weakness to strength based forms would be sealed a bit wouldn't that weaken Soresu's defense overall?

Darth Abonis
Ataru and Djem So/Shien

Oh a great mix speed and strength. Maybe a little lacking on the defense but the combo should be enough to overcome any resistance.

Makashi, Soresu, Shien and Shii-Cho, the foot work and deadly precision of Makashi, Soresuto make up for Makashi's lack of defensive capabilities against blasters, Shien to add more defensive control against lightsabers and Shii-Cho for its wild and unpredictable strikes.
The philosophy around the form is neutral, it would teach my students, that, the best offense is a good defense, the defense is a good offense, it would them that to rely on the defensive(Soresu) they find themselves exhausted if they draw the battle out, if they rely solely on the offensive and charge in blindly(Juyo. Vaapad. Ataru) they will often times find themselves overwhelmed. This hybrid form is Wild and unpredictabl, yet deadly and precise. It's defensive capabilities as strong enough to deal with a group of blaster and lightsaber wielding opponents, the form teaches balance as all form cover each others weakness and greatly strengthen's their potential. It weakness however is that to master it requires the leaner to fully understand, that they can not be overly aggressive or defensive in their duels, as the form finds it true potential and power in balance. While a padawan could use the form effectively only a true master of this hybrid form can use it to its fullest extent and potential.

Nice!

Djem So and Makashi. You can't just mix two forms that have high offense and high defense, they don't mix properly.

In this case, though, you take the defensive measures of Form V linked with Form II's energy efficient economy of motion, and then in offensive strategy link the strength and counter speed of Djem So and and the superprecision of Makashi to overwhelm your opponent.

Ah.
