My work will hopefully address some misconceptions about the said character in that community.

However, I must confess, I have read your respect thread and have decided to raise Vitiate greatly, he is now second to only Palpatine (this does not mean he can defeat every Sith besides Palpatine, however. I mean in terms of pure comparison of power). After further research, Plagueis's accolade is by the book publisher, not the actual narrator itself, and therefore holds no weight. Excellent thread.

The whole problem with the Vitiate vs Sidious thing really makes SW hard to follow sometimes.

Both men's lives are impressive but Sidious is a man and Vitiate is a godlike entity yet Sidious is more powerful than him canonically. They should either put more impressive stories to Sidious' past life or give the ultimate title to Vitiate.

Palpatine visited Korriban more than a few times right? If they give more details about what he did there, it would be easier to believe that Sidious is stronger. Stuff like him learning all the ancient Sith knowledge including Vitiate's rituals.

Nah I still think Sidious is albeit better Sinious. He can create force storms on the whim and Vitiate was too obsessed with immortality instead of focusing his power.

I keep seeing that. He dies around 67 BBy. I don't know where this is coming from but for example, wookiepedia has it like that too.

It says he died before then. Not around then.

Still could it mean 2500 BBY by that? It has to be within that century at least which is still pretty odd.

Vitiate died most likely during the darth desolous conflict

The timing makes sense but is there any other reason for you to think that? If not, it would be really interesting to find out if he had survived for 3000 years or not. He has no effect on events so if he survived that long, he was probably just an entity fading away slowly where it got to a point where he completely lost his existence.
