Who wouldn't be KO'd by a 7 mile fall?

If we were to consider this in G forces, this seems to be quite a number in terms of actual weight hitting the pavement. A fall from this height KO'd Red Hulk, and at first I thought that this was pretty wimpy, but after thinking about it, he was actually hit with a lot of weight. So the question here, is if you made any Super Hero 1,200 lbs, who wouldn't be KO'd from a fall of 7 miles?

Any non jobbing CL100 could do it. Hell most Cl75-90s could probably do it too.

Rulk really should have no sold that

Thing.

Honestly its a pretty bad low, Luke Cage could probably walk it off.

Considering that you would add 1200 extra pounds for every 6 feet that you free fall, a lot of these guys might be KO'd as well no?

A nearly depowered Superman was thrown so hard by Khyber that he cracked open Earth and threw it out of orbit.

7 miles is kinda redundant since a person falling within the atmosphere (near the zero-altitude) reaches the terminal velocity way sooner than that; after a 0.3 mile fall or so.

So the question actually becomes, who wouldn't be KO'd by hitting the ground at terminal velocity (195 km/h or 122 mph or 54 m/s - wikipedia). Many class 100s should be able to take it, although sometimes even Thor, Hulk, etc. do get KO'd by similar or lesser hits (Hulk during the Infinity Crusade, Thor from falling from a tall building, Silver Surfer from getting hit by a baseball bat, ...).

When was surfer knocked out by a bat? And Thor wasn't KOED by that fall since Spidey rescued him.

carver9
This should answer your question since Hulk and Red Hulk is the same build and weight. A weakened Hulk jumps from Sakaar moon all the way to the planet with a smile on his face...and he tanks it.

That was a lowshowing for Rulk.

Surfer - the famous mexican scene.

Thor - guess you're right, must've confused that with another scene.

Surfer wasn't KOED and that comic is most likely non canon.

I believe that Superman was in a state of undeath after that toss. Kyber really worked him.

Also I believe that any sub Class 100, and even low Class 100's would be pulverized by the impact mentioned in the OP. If my math is correct Red hulk was hit by 3,696 tons at the point of impact.

very true but Sentry may not have tossed Ben with the same amount of torque, that would be generated from a 7 mile drop.

I would say, anyone strong enough to shoulder-stop a train Hancock-style could handle it easily.

I beleive spider man could, it's been said that if he flexed while fighting people of similar or greater strength (lift 20+ tons) they're wrists would break..

He'd be injured but concious

If he weighed 1200 pounds he would be pulverized (check out the OP). He would hit in excess of 6000 tons unless I got my numbers wrong. The way I understand it, for every 6 feet the 1200 lbs fell, you would add an additional 1200 pounds until it reached it's destination of 7 miles. The impact would be like being hit in excess of 6000 tons.

His main ability is his durability, which is amazing.

Also, depending on his gear, there are many ways he could slow/ease the fall.

I.e. web gliders, trying to stick to a building mid fall (would take away from fall and break his arm)

Web safety net.

IF just fall, would probably depend purely on luck

Nah I was just talking about taking the fall without the aid of props, while weighing 1200 lbs. He would be turned into dust. There would be no buildings or anything, just out in the middle of no wheres land. i was trying to figure out if the Red Hulk jobbed, but in fact him getting KO'd makes a bit more sense when you realize what he was hit with from that type of fall.

Hm then only tanks.

in the 2012 avengers movie hulk fell from the helicopter and got knocked out.

however thor was trpaped falling and desperately escaped, so I doubt thor would survive and he's basically A tank.

Stoic
Movies aren't canon to comics, because the movie counterparts aren't nearly as strong as the comic versions. That being said, if Thor were written by the same writer that had Red Hulk get KO'd by the fall, he might have been KO'd as well.

It's not a linear function - you eventually reach terminal velocity.

It's official. Mac Gargan Scorpion >>> Red Hulk.
