He seemed he always had a problem with jedi, he was very ungrateful when he was rescued from the citadel, and was even more in season 5, why is he such an ass? Does he possibly know about palpatines plan?

I'm sure he felt that they were unorganized hippies in running the war, and scoffed at their simple parlor tricks and nonsense.
