Played & liked the first game on the PC despite its bugs with the horse hiring

never got around to playing the second one

looks okay this third installment.

Havent played the first 2 but from the trailer it looks like diablo 3 with a bit better visuals.

Nice summer release if you ask me.

Well the first game was compared to Diablo at the time, Also with these Sacred games the world is alot bigger like Elder Scrolls big

Reading this is currently out in Europe

had a look a the reviews saying it is better then the 2nd game.

Havent played the first 2.
This one is pretty much an arcade game.
No rpg elements.
5 minute long levels.
Fastpaced mindless action game.
You can only upgrade your character after finishing a lvl.
Not too many spells or weapons so far only played couple hours though.

That blows, A game that originally started off being similar to Diablo with a world as big as a Elder Scrolls game reduced to a arcade style game.

Its not bad..but I expected it to be like Diablo for some reason.
There are no new armor or buyable weapons you get them randomly and they level up randomly as well.
You can buy magic and and weapon upgrades but you need to get to certain levels to do so.
Weapon spirits also unlock randomly.

Upgrades are only available in the main menu after completin a mission.

So it kinda feels cheap.

TB absolutely savaged this game in his WTF video. Kinda sad how it's turned out.

Sad things is I want to like it but I cant.
I dont even care about finishing it....ermm

Switched characters from Seraphim to the big warrior dude.
I like his specials better.
The archer guy is cool as well with his ice traps.

Anyways beat the game took me max 6 hours to do so.
Really short.
Dont think Im gonna play too much with it.

I hated Sacred 3. It is by far the disappointment of the year for me so far, and I'm not sure if anything can top it. I'm a huge fan of Sacred 2, and to see it butchered is really sad.

The shittiest thing is that even if you forget that it's a Sacred game, it's still not very good. It's a little better because those expectations for the open-world RPG with crazy level progression depth aren't there, but it still fails in fundamental ways... at least the PC version does.

It's kinda bad when one of the guys involved with the game takes to Steam to apologize to fans.

I really don't see why they changed the format of this game so much. I can't speak for the PC version but i thought, Sacred 2 was a good template and had a lot of potential. The only thing that kept me from truly enjoying, Sacred 2, was a horrible menu interface, vague leveling/weapon system and clunky co-op. However, i related most of these issues to just being poorly ported to console so i didn't make that much of a fuss. Beneath all of that was a great game that i wanted to see realized in, Sacred 3 but after playing a few hours of the game it feels like a glorified xbox arcade title.
