Nimrod vs New X-Men

We can see from this fight that...
*Nimrod is taking an electrical attack from Surge and adapts accordingly.
*He can tell that multiple targets are attacking him from all directions and proceeds to emit what looks like a shockwave to repel them.
*He is able to adapt to a telekinetic burst from Hellion.
*He can adapt to Dust trying to block his vision via sandstorm.
*He suffers an attack from Talon who has adamantium claws and makes sure to use a forcefield for his next encounter, and deals with her in a shocking way.
*What we see near the end of the fight is the New X-Men targeting Nimrod's time travel device implanted into his body which when damaged automatically teleports him.

What I will show next is Forge programming Nimrod into a new body (Nimrod 2.0 which he programmes to protect mutants.)

The New X-Men mistake it for an attacker and eventually deal it so much damage that Nimrod begins to reform back to his original self.

Nimrod's always made a great enemy for the x-men, and even though I always liked him they still couldn't quite pull off the same feel with Bastion.
