Superman is arguably (because comic fans will argue anything) DC's most powerful alien that makes his home in earth.
Who is the MU's most powerful earth side alien? IS there one?

Criteria:
Must come from another planet, not another dimension (Asgardians/MU gods are disqualified).

Must be fully alien (Skaar and other hybrids are disqualified).

Must not be an offshoot of humanity (Eternals, Inhumans etc. are disqualified).

Must live on earth, not just visit on occasion (silver Surfer is disqualified).

Assuming anyone meets all the above stips, how do they compare to Superman, in s no prep no BFR fight?

krisblaze
Uhm...Tiamut?

The delinquent was around but he might've taken off also...

riv6672
Tuamut'a a hella good choice, but didnt he die in x termination?
I thought Delinquent was extra dimensional? If not, also a good choice if he lives on earth now.

maxivitopowe
Lord Marvell

riv6672
Isnt he from something called the cancerverse?

He's from a different dimension and doesn't really operate on Earth.

Noh-Varr while alien comes from an alternate future.

Stoic
how about the Silver Surfer? He lived on Earth for quite some time, and I believe that he is more powerful than Superman.

DarkSaint85
You know, this is actually really hard, kudos!

All I can think of at the top of my head, is Fin Fang Foom.....

riv6672
No, I was really looking for a permanent resident.

I guess there really isnt one.

He violates Criterion 4.

DarkSaint85
If not Fin Fang Foom, Hulkling (*snicker*)

Yeah, Superman would mop the floor at the moment. There must be someone I'm forgetting.

krisblaze
Beta Ray Bill lives on earth smile

There's also this guy;

Thor is kind of an alien.

Sorry about the criteria; i'm trying to make it as Superman specific as possible. No ringers via loophole.

DarkRaiden
But Superman is humanoid/a humanity shoot off.....

Anyways...um...Fin Fang Foom's cousin, that random nova? IDK. Ego maybe?

carver9
Starbrand and Captain Universe.

GroggyGrunt
Asgardians are aliens from another planet. I don't see how it being in another dimension makes them less "alien". Hell, Superman was raised here...he's less alien than Thor.

This reads as "Does Marvel have a character with the exact same story as Superman and has comparable power levels?" I don't think they do, otherwise he'd be on the same list of clones as Hyperion/Gladiator/Sentry, except more-so because of the identical backstory.

Kid Gladiator

Son of Gladiator, yet lives on Earth via going to school at the X-Men school of higher learning..

celeyhyga17
Ethan Edwards was pretty tough. I doubt he's the most powerful though.

Good choice. Edward is a good choice as well. The guy was a beast.

riv6672
Ah, so there are aliens on earth!

carver9
Yeah, Edward is a Skrull..a beastly one at that and everyone knows who kid Gladiator is.

riv6672
Never heard of Kid Gladiator.

GroggyGrunt
I never knew of Kid Gladiator til now. However, neither of those guys is going to hold a candle to Superman.

riv6672
That was my next question, how do these aliens do in a fight with Supes...

carver9
Edward would do alright against Supes but would lose overall. Kid Gladiator would get stomped by Superman even though he has Superman's powers. Reason I'm saying this is because Thor beat Kid Glads in an arm wrestling contest and Kid used his entire body and still couldn't budge Thor arm. He's strong though...incredibly strong.

carver9
Also...here is kid Glads.

Doop?

riv6672
The potato???

Also, Kid Glads reminds me of 90s Superboy! thumb up

Not a fair fight

I'm sure Kid Gladiators old man will have something to say about Superman picking on Jr.

riv6672
No dad should get whooped in front of their kid...

DarkSaint85
Ethan Edwards is in Ben's league in terms of strength, and Torch in terms of speed. Superman would whoop him:

Doop would absolutely merk Superman, however he was created in the US I think, so not an alien. Or is he?

DarkSaint85
Kid Gladiator (interestingly, Marvel.com - I know, I know, hardly proof - has her as 1 ton strength):

Superman would kill him.

krisblaze
^I remember that. It was retarded.

Not that Kid Gladiator stand a chance anyways.

Strontians, for all their strength, have a glass jaw evil face

riv6672
Thanks for the scansthumb up

tkitna
I thought of Doop, but he's not an alien.

This is a tough question. I need to think a little more on this one.

maxivitopowe
Would hyperion count?

riv6672
He's an alien AND from another dimension, right? Sure, he'd count.
Didnt even recall there's a version of him on earth now. Good call.

DarkSaint85
Oh. Didn't count him as he was from another dimension lol.

riv6672
I completely forgot about him, which is worse!

GroggyGrunt
mad

laughing out loud

riv6672
Eh. What do you want? Marvel earth's not exactly swimming in viable candidates.
Same thing happened when i asked about DC mutants....laughing out loud

janus77
Probably Korg, Hiroim or someone else from Sakaar. Given the stips, most of the powerful entities are ruled out.
