In the thread i read, someone listed Jennifer Walters.
Not to slight her but, i've never seen Matt Murdock listed in a smartest male character top 10.....

Monica is one of AIM's recurring Scientist Supremes. Moy is a scientist who worked with Reed Richards. Sinthea is Red Skull's daughter.

Dr. Kavita Rao is one of Marvel's top biologists.

Veronica Cale, the Wonder Woman villain, was one of the lead scientists in creating the Four Horsemen of Apokolips, the ones that were responsible for making Black Adam flip out in 52/World War 3, and was later responsible for banishing them as well. And she became the president of Oolong Island.



If we went indy that'd give more options. From Gold Digger, Ancient Gina is a scientist who invented a device that grants time magic, and created a fully sentient android with a time-stop ability who is the world's 'Superman.'

Ancient Gjna sounds cool...

Yea, Ancient Gina's pretty awesome. She's in a cosmic chess game with an evil dragon who fused with a time traveler in order to gain knowledge and control of time.


Gold Digger's a comic with a number of female superscientists (The main character, Gina Diggers, and her rival, Penny Pincer, pioneered a number of nifty inventions like teleporters and beta technology which allows the creation of 'phantom mass,' one can put a ring around your wrist and then punch as if it massed 50 tons. Gina's sister Brianna specializes in weaponry and AI creation, and yadda yadda), but Ancient Gina stands above the rest.

Bumblebee created her own suit, has no powers of her own, and was good enough to join a team of superpowers (Teen titans).

IOW, she's a female Pym/Iron Man. not their level, but of that calibre.

Madame X I put for the same reason as Clea - she knows her stuff.

A good argument can be made for Jen Walters, actually. Out of all the characters, she's the only one smart enough to realise she's in a comic. that's beyond what anyone else has done, certainly anyone sane (not including Joker/Deadpool).
