Ludo Kressh vs Naga Sadow. One of the pivotal points in history.

It was semi inconclusive, with Naga being the defacto winner thanks to Marka Ragnos showing up.

But what if Ludo had taken the Gauntlet of Kressh the Younger- an alchemical device that Ludo himself made for his son (and seen in the hands of Haazen in the KotoR comic)- and been wearing it that day? With it's massively defensive capabilities, it seems likely that he'd convincingly win against Naga Sadow. If Ragnos still shows up, he'd almost certainly get the nod from the senior sith lord as the defacto winner.

What happens then? How does history go if the Sith follow Kressh's path?

Naga likely outmaneuvers him later on and kills him. Naga always was smarter than Ludo.

From what we've seen of the gauntlet and the lack of anything Kressh or Sadow showed us in their anticlimactic, the Gaunlet should wreck Sadow.

Unless Ludo finishes him first, of course. And whatever happens, Naga will lose a lot of face with other sith at bare minimum.

Which means the Sith Empire is unlikely to seek a war with the Republic at this time, which means it's likely to last a good deal longer... which also means Vitiate is unlikely to go off and make his splinter.

Arhael
Made a powerful artifact and never used it but gave to his son. That's not really a behavior of Sith... You sure he didn't have a similar one himself?

I wouldn't at all be surprised if Kressh and Sadow were loaded with sith artifacts. They weren't the top two sith because of their receding hairlines.

He never showed any defense ability of that nature when he fought, and it's pretty noticeable when active.

The Sith would likely have stayed hidden for an undetermined amount of time. The one thing that is certain is Nadd would never have become one of the Greatest sith sorcerers to ever live, Kun never would've learned Sadow's/Nadd's secrets or attained his amulets or gauntlets, Bane would never have gained his holocron, and Zannah would never have learned his secrets thousands of years later.
