What do you all think about another Saw movie being in the works? Is it really necessary?

I've only seen the first Saw. Hated it. Never seen a sequel.

The Saw movies had an interesting premise and a great over-arching villain, but the writing SUUUCKED. If there was a decent writing/directing team who had a clever way to continue the franchise, I'd watch it.
