How come no one in the SW Universe ragdolls a Rancor when encountering one?

It's a running theme that Rancors = Death for Jedi/Sith.

Why not just throw them off a f*cking cliff??

Pick them up with the Force, and Ragdoll them until death, or hold them down with the force, and chop them up into little bite-sized pieces.

Don't even tell me that no one can do it. If 13-year-old Jaden Korr can easily force push a giant pillar, and Galen Marek can move a f*cking star destroyer, do NOT tell me that neither of them could easily pick up a rancor with the force.

If a rancor encounter Darth Revan = Certain death for the rancor in just no time.. Satisfied?

Rancor are massive and really resistant they are quasi unvulnerable to lightnings...
(But Revan kill them with "Lightning from the sky" )
13 year old Jaden korr? I've alway been the mature Jaden korr... He does in cirontancese... Because in the game it don't have any force power at the begining.. That's like ezra first force push I think, and In the game all pilar are weaken at the base or something else.... Rancor are resistant to force attacks..
That's why sith chose them to buld their favorite monster...

Since when are rancors force-resistant?...

Revanchiste
For starkiller *

That's why sith have taken them to make tentareks !!!! Because they had potential Tentarek where made to be invicible !!!! They have the physical ability of a rancor + the insane force resistance !!!!

WildBantha88
Rancors are ****ing huge that's why. It would take one of the higher ups to do such a thing

Revanchiste
Yhea Because Jaden can hurt a rancor with the force yhea push a pillar O.K.. Push a rancor O.K But it won't kill him or dammage him !!! They are resistant.

It still a physcial dammage... And they are extrem resistant to force push....

And tsarkiller they said everything in the video.... That's why the mooving a ISD = Non sense......

NTJack0
..What?

Darth Abonis
Uh its a moving creature. Its a lot easier to move something with telekinesis, when it isn't attacking you.

Revanchiste
Marek was under starfighter attack when he moove the ISD.

Arhael
Yoda struggled a lot to lift a pillar in AotC and x-wing in RotJ. Rancors are just as heavy, if not heavier. Also, they are moving targets, which makes it even harder to hold them in a Force grasp.

Ace Hambone
It's an example of how out of balance force powers can be across media and different authors. That question can be raised in many other situations as wells, but I think it comes down to the plot needs of the story.

Revanchiste
The star destroyer was a mooving item able to resist Satrkiller telekinesis XD !
Any of your explication works... That's proove starkiller feat = non sens !!!

Bad story telling. Simple.

'Ragdolling' rarely takes out *Jedi*. You throw them around, and either you get in fast with your saber or they get back up. Unless they hit your head or something, it's not a win.

It's thus hardly going to take out something that much bigger and stronger and better armored.

Arhael
"Farther down the pass, Luke gestured as if making an upward palm strike against the empty air. Meters away, the farthest rancor stumbled backward and fell, landing full on its rider."

That's the only example I know, where the Force was used against a rancor.

That's the only example I know, where the Force was used against a rancor. ...Luke could've picked the thing up or at least force-pushed it off a cliff.

Jmanghan
I'm bringin it back.

How else do you give your over-powered main characters some tension and challenge while simultaneously shoehorning in a reference to the OT?
