Was reading Chaos War again and Gaea seemed to have a good deal of power judging from her amp. She might even be the strongest Elder God. How do you think she'd do against the master of the Old Ones?

She didn't amp anything. Unless I'm mistaken all she did was awaken Herc to his true power.

That one showing doesn't negate the fact that she got her ass handed to her (not once, but twice) by Set. Unless that's been retconned, there's no way she's the most powerful Elder God.

Also Dormammu phucked her over when he attempted to incarnate on Earth by being recreated in Earth's core. She stopped the attempt but it cost her dearly. Later during the Inferno event, she couldn't come to Strange's aid when Dormammu was FULLY manifested on Earth because of what Dormammu did to her in his previous attempt to conquer Earth.

As to the thread, she should beat jobber Gorath. But Classic Gorath would destroy her.

Shuma wins

In Dr Strange #2 when Strange was forced to use his astral form to take over a rat, he tries to get aid from Gaea to help deal with Dormammu. But he can barely sense her and says she is weak from Shuma-Gorath's prior attack on Earth plus some other disturbance.

Seems to me that Shuma-Gorath can f*** up Gaea all by sitting on his ass 1,000 planes of existence away from her. The power difference between them is large.
