Which characters have, on-panel, come up with the fastest and most effective examples of rabbit-out-of-the-hat prep feats?

I'm interested because in versus matches I'm always seeing "So-and-so versus blah-de-blah, and blah-de-blah gets five minutes prep-time".

Has anyone ever actually done anything in five minutes, in comics, that won them a fight/saved the day?

I'm not saying that's never happened, I'm genuinely curious to hear from people better schooled in comics than me about some specific examples.

I'm not interested in characters who are usually mentioned as the prep-masters (Richards, Doom...) unless they really did pluck something out of thin air and it was a game-changer. I don't care about reputation or potential, I am interested in proven examples.

They don't even have to be 'serious'. The only one that springs to mind for me is the old Superman comic where Lex was in jail and used a drinking straw and a mirror or somesuch to create a death-ray!

Anyways, Reed has a very concrete example where the council of Reeds are being attacked by Celestials. He teleports back home and in like 10 minutes he rounds up guns laying about, goes back and they kick ass.

Depends what the OP means, a lot of "prep guys" have things at their home/base/cave/lab so with prep they could grab it in honestly 30seconds

Or

You have feats of creating something new in 5 minutes, generally it's fanboy talk but a speedster with a plan should have no issue with the time limit.

But Hank Pym becomes the scientist supreme. Was that Bendis?

Reed has cobbled together gadgets in minutes, quite a few times. My Fantastic Four respect thread has a lot of instances of this.
