Pre-Flashpoint Obsidian at his best.

I'd love to hear some opinions on this match up.

I'd like to see some working pics so I actually knew which characters this thread was actually using.

If lord blaze is in a thread, just assume he wins.

Like the lord rand rule, but believable.

obsidian was pretty beastly at times. hard to say the impact the hellfire would have on him though. if blaze could hurt him with it he has a chance, otherwise he loses every time.

Has Blaze ever affected beings like Obsidian?

Would Obsidian be able to control someone like GR?

I see no reason why not.
Also not 100% sure the penance stare would be terribly successful against Todd.
Let's remember his own shadow power allows him to see the the darkest things in the souls of those around him.
During underworld unleashed when Neron was at his peak Todd actually saw the darkness of everyone on earth at once. It drove him to suicide, he just wasnt able to kill himself.
he was able to get past all that and by the end of pre 52 and deal with it. I very much doubt GR's penance stare is worse than the darkest parts of every living soul combined.
