Pietro is still better

but counting on how wide the cage is
the more spacious, the more favorable for the mutant

I find myself on the fence. On one hand, Quicksilver has a big speed advantage. On the other hand, IF does have some level of super speed of his own, but on top of that has some decent durability and AoE attacks as well. He can never directly tag Pietro himself, which is why the AoE's are handy.

Especially since they are confined in a cage, I'd say the fight comes down to if you think IF can survive long enough to use his powers. He has walked away from exploding trains(as I recall) and other stuff like that.

Pietro. It would look something like his fight with Mr. X.

The problem is Mr. X didn't have the durability of IF and wasn't doing powerful AoE attacks like IF can, and to my knowledge also had no actual super speed just precog. Quicksilver's encounter with Mr. X is a picture perfect example of why precog is useless against beings with super speed unless you possess speed of your own.
