Given the current state of the film industry, and the history of infamously shittacular cartoon/anime adaptations that I don't mention by name (Dragonball Evolution, The Last Airbender ) and generally try to avoid speaking of at all, I'm reasonably apprehensive to putting anymore confidence in another one.

And on the other hand it seems they did do a decent job of Edge of Tomorrow which itself was based on a Manga.
