A tie between MOS and the new Godzilla. MOS lived up to the hype mostly. The Godzilla trailer was a massive lie.

The Last Airbender

For fouling fans into believing that they didn't f up the movie and it was gonna be good. Haha I find the trailer a lot better than the movie.

There was no way I was going to watch that movie, especially since they changed his name.

If it was a licensing issue, here's a thought, get that resolved BEFORE making a live-action movie based on a beloved franchise.

The Prometheus trailers are phenomenal and I think they had a lot to do with why people had such high expectations. I however avoided the trailers until I saw the movie. One of the best decisions I've ever made.

Apparently the name change was done to be more "authentic" that's about as authentic as he for bc M. Night just f'd it up!!

A prequel would have been much better, but new director.
