I. STRENGTH

Bane loves to casually rip opponent's limbs off, and beat them with said limbs.

Even an advanced exo-suit offers no protection from Bane's limb removal service.

Easily breaks a man's wrist, and after getting shot in shoulder from point blank range, breaks shooter's forearm using said injured shoulder side.

Bane enjoys twisting heads around and breaking necks. This 1 handed neckbreaker also shows his punching power through steel.

Lifting the victim up and snapping their neck with only 1 hand, and in battle after tanking a hit from a bat and having an arm tied up with a chain executes a quick neckbreaker.

Bane break faces with routine punches. Very often again and again.

Bane also routinely with only 1 hand lifts up and tosses grown men with ease. Even ones on his venom.

Throws adult men around like ragdolls again and again, tanking a hit to the head from a bat in the process.

Ferocious predators and creatures gets slaughter and koed by Bane. Large sea creature underwater is no match.

Bane is weakened from having to play dead to escape prison. He is in a body bag and tied up. Thrown into the sea, he breaks free and kills multiple sharks underwater that was trying to eat him.

Breaks the neck of a big prehistoric griffin creature.

One shot koed Manbat.

Rips through a prison wall. Furthermore, runs through a door completely smashing it. Breaks a metal door by smashing it with a man.

Rips through an iron gate in a death cell that was being flooded to drown him.

Pushes huge statue onto enemies crushing them.

Breaks an electric metal collar designed to kill him. Breaks free from concrete shackles, before an officer could fire. Breaks free from some heavily fortified cement bonds around his body while being heavily sedated.

Strong enough to casually knock down Robotman and one hit ko Batman dressed as Matches Malone.

While in prison Bane did a thousand push-ups, pull-ups, and sit-ups every day.

New 52 (N52) Bane destroys venom enhanced prisoners by using his strength and gym equipment to break faces and skulls.

One hit knocking out fools while being stabbed multiple times. Kills a man by separating jaw from mouth.

Kills Talon Calvin Rose by breaking his neck with only 1 hand.

Easily throws a huge statute at batman. Batman admits that Bane is stronger than him and that he fears him.

Batbane easily overpowers Zsasz and tortures him by just using his strength.

Bane breaks highly secured big metal doors in a prison.

Pre-N52 Bane easily breaks Killer Croc's arm and koes him.

During Salvation Run, Bane breaks the neck of some hybrid tech dino creature.

Sends Jean Paul Batman flying backwards with just a casual swat. Cracks and Crunches Jean Paul's ribs even through Azrael armor.

II. SPEED/AGILITY/REFLEXES

Above is a possible bullet timing feat off of venom, moving head away from bullets.

Blitzes shooter before he can fire.

Quickly takes a guy out and dodges a bullet.

Uses a statue to deflect bullets and blitzes the gunman with said statue.

Dodges Batman batarangs by jumping up onto a support beam flawlessly.

Dodges Jean Paul Batman batarangs fired from his wrist gauntlets.

Displays jumping ability and agility while Robin is spying on him, by leaping unto a high ledge and a speeding train.

Moves faster than Robin can see, and quickly sneaks up and captures him despite being a least two rail cars in front previously.

Easily catches Robin's foot in mid kick.

Quickly runs down a fleeing Cobra agent and makes him pay.

Bane is extremely agile and has parkour-like movement.

This acrobatic feat was performed without the aid of venom. (revealed near the end of the Hourman arc- scan in the fights section, Bane wore his injection gear to fool Hourman)

Jumps from the ground to the top of a lighthouse in one leap.

Executes a backflip while dodging two batarangs, then dodges another one and quickly closes the distance on Batman.

Blitzes a gunman after disarming him.

Fast enough to follow Batman on the rooftops of Gotham without being seen.

Even w/o venom, Bane has metahuman speed and reflexes.

III. DURABILITY/HEALING/ENDURANCE

Bane has easily withstood being shocked by the superhero Lightning, beating him and his brother Thunder simultaneously.

Bane has survived point blank explosions, fire attacks, and collapsing buildings with only minor damage.

Batman with Superman's powers attack Bane by flying him through a wall, punching him, and blasting him with heat vision. Bane is able to attack back and only suffers a little cosmetic damage.

For reference, Batman was able to draw blood from punching Superman while on Bane's venom.

Takes Batman's tazer shot at point blank range and laughs.

Batman and Bane are failing from a high skyscraper. Batman needs to glide down to survive, Bane does not.

Elasti-Girl bfrs Bane high and far. He is immediately up after the hard impact to the ground. He tanked this w/o venom.

Nightshade is hitting Bane as hard as she can and as much as she can. He still will not fall so she has to ask Count Vertigo for help. Even her pressure points attacks aren't effective against him off of venom, and Bane mocks her laughable attempts to hurt him.

Azrael on venom is fighting Bane off of venom. Azrael states that hitting Bane is like hitting a sack full of cement. Azrael is close to being koed, while Bane isn't being harmed.

Bane heals up by cauterizing his wounds with a blow torch.

Takes multipe bullets to his shoulder and is unfazed, continuing to fight.

Bane is repeatedly pierced and stabbed by an army of talons as part of his plan. He walks away under his own power despite needing medical attention.

Bane grabbed Catman, so he stabbed Bane's shoulder through Vandal's hand. Vandal screamed in pain but Bane barely noticed.

Bane blocks a knife attack with his hand, and uses same hand with knife impaled in it to kill attacker.

Bane gets shot in the arm and thigh by batarangs, but continues to fights against Jean Paul Batman.

Takes a bite to his upper shoulder by Killer Croc, and makes him pay dearly for it.

Kills over 30 inmates in a prison style gauntlet, before being introduced to venom.

Takes over 500 bricks to the face and chest from a super strong metahuman named Junior, without the aid of venom.
Bane is able to free one hand and kill one of the henchmen by biting through his enemy's jugular vein.

Climbs a very steep cliff in the middle of a hurricane, with winds over 125 mph. And still has enough left to knock down Azrael with one punch.

At the age of 8, Bane killed a man and was sent to a solitary confinement hole that would flood every night. He was in that watery grave of a cell for ten years.

In prison, Bane was the only subject to survive the "venom" procedure.

Bane is the only man to have ever swam the Rip. The Rip has a current of 30 Knots. 30 Knots is a speed of 34.6 MPH, so Bane had to at least swim the speed of 35 mph to survive the current.

IV. SKILLS/ABILITY

Bane is a weapons master and is very accurate with all types of weapons.

Mammoth find this out the hard way.

Displays a lot of skills against a group of Skartaris warriors. Disarms one then uses same axe to decapitate, block multiple arrows, and to dismember limbs.

Throws pickaxe from behind his back before guard can shoot with deadly accuracy.

Quickly disarms Talia Al Ghul.

V. INTELLECT

In prison Bane read every book he could get his hands on, and learn to read in six languages.

Ra's and Talia al Ghul didn't realize that Bane knew Farsi, Dhari, and Urdu languages, when they were talking about him.

Bane learned Latin, history, and about the world from a priest who visited the prison.

Matched wits and impressed Ra's in chess.

VS Hourman In JSA Classified #17-18, Bane tricked Hourman 1 and 2 stating that in his furious carelessness to wipe out the drug trade in his homeland, he was captured, and hooked to new highly addictive Venom, which resulted in death from the withdrawal. Bane, who had never truly been addicted to Venom, had in fact wiped out the drug lords, and destroyed every research note on Venom. He discovered in the process both strains of Venom derived from Rex Tyler's early research on Miraclo. He discovers from the Tylers that no written notes exist of Rex's work, so he captures Rex, and steals Rick's equipment, planning to kill Rex and to force Rick to take the last of the new Venom, becoming an addict forever. In the end Bane kidnaps Hourman 1, sets a trap and stalemate both Hourman 1 and 2 simultaneously, and survives a collapsing former prison.

He HAD been shot up with it previously but had refused to take anymore and gone through withdrawal before that fight took place. Still an impressive showing of endurance for Bane though.

Thanks and yeah Azrael tricked Bane that time by pretending to be on Venom. Bane has pulled that same trick a few times and would still wear his injection gear while off of Venom.

REBIRTH BANE

Bane makes his first major appearance in Rebirth during the "I Am Suicide" arc. There his origin is retold as he was born in prison and forced to stay in a underground cell that would flood every night. At age 4 he had to survive by swimming to the top of his cell to breathe and eat fish and rats, until the waters receded. He had to do this every night for 17 years.

Bane gets back on Venom and goes to Gotham City for revenge. Bruce tells the former Robins, the current Robin, and Lark to basically leave the city, b/c Bane will kill them if they don't. He states that Bane is stronger than them and maybe stronger than him. I think Bruce means having a stronger will b/c clearly Bane is physically stronger than him.

Bane completely dominates most of the fight and basically threatens to kill everyone that Bruce cares about, plus burn his city. But Bane becomes overconfident, and a near death Bruce suddenly gets renewed plot life energy from hearing his dead mother's voice. One Detective Comics cash-cow headbutt later, Batman prepares for his next comic arc and appearances in Justice League, Justice League of America, Trinity, All Star Batman, etc.

I always thought Mammoth was around class 50ish, more or less so depending on the plot. But that's just a guess going by his fights with Starfire, Donna Troy, Cyborg, Superboy etc pre 52.

They rarely get Bane right on tv shows and movies. He is far from an unskilled and unthinking brick like they often make him out to be.

This is more like the way he should consistently be depicted.
