You have to go on a 5 year Sci Fi Mission. And the twist is you get to choose which Sci Fi Ship you get to spend it on.
If you choose The Enterprise. Its the one from the TOS. All tech is at that level. You have phasers, transporters, and super advanced medicine but no Holodecks. And you also have a actual Job. Bad News is your somewhere around Red Shirt Security level. You are on the Enterprise and its on its 5 year mission to explore uncharted space, Chart new systems. Meet new alien races. Keeping Kirk from destroying the ship and or the universe and cleaning up after his orgies.
If you choose the Red Dwarf. Basically you are alone on this giant ship. Your only companioins are a Idiot Savant Computer system. A Animal Person of your choice. (either cat or dog) Some little Robot Fixer machines. And a Hologram person that you can't physically interact with and it has to be someone you aren't particulary found of but can stand to be in the same room with. Your real mission. To survive and Not go Insane. (but hey you aint got no boss to yell at you !!)
