Neither can really beat the other.

Cletus will just keep regenerating, while Morlun is hardly bothered by any attack.

This seems like a stalemate as neither can damage each other, and Morlun doesn't have some fire or high sounds powers.

Yeah he used it on Patton Parnel. But who is to say it was exclusive to the Spider Totem.

He also had an impressive fight against Genis but I don't know if that is really relevant or anything.
