Four part mini-series post-RotJ. Coming out September 2nd, 2015. Y'all looking forward to it?

Summary: Emperor Palpatine's twenty-year reign of terror came to an abrupt and fiery end in the skies above the forest moon of Endor. A decisive victory for the Rebel Alliance, to be sure, but even with the loss of its leadership, the Empire's Moffs and regional governors retained their hold on important systems from the Core to the Outer Rim, thanks to the might of the Imperial Starfleet. Now, with a power vacuum atop the Empire, those Moffs will jockey for position and control, and the heroes of the Rebel Alliance will soon discover that a wounded and fractious Empire may be more dangerous than any threat they faced before!
For the first time in the new Star Wars canon, journey with us into the time after the end of Return of the Jedi! Writer Greg Rucka (PUNISHER, WOLVERINE, Gotham Central) and artist Marco Checchetto (AVENGERS WORLD, PUNISHER) take us past the destruction of the second Death Star into the chaos of a Shattered Empire.

That art of Luke carrying his father literally made my mouth drop when I saw it. That's so ****ing iconic and sad, it really means a lot to me to see that. Haha

First issue came out and it was quite good.

Also the two main characters are Poe's parents.

Yeah it was crap. What a waste of four dollars for insignificant characters. I'll wait until they actually get into what happened to Luke/Leia etc.

They are milking OT characters. It's for a reason Dark Horse created new heroes and antagonists. They're totally void of imagination...

If it is a rehash of Dark Empire do we get to see Luke take out a AT-AT like it was a wet Kitten again?

Luke hopefully makes an appearance in Issue #4.

Yeah, great issue. The Empire still has a ton of weapons at their disposal, and it looks like we're getting a showdown at Naboo. Two more issues left.

The "Emperor's" messanger was awesome. Otherwise I wasn't a huge fan. The big villain plan seems a little silly.

(That's why I found this very hypocrite of being annoyed by Revan because he come back again, O.K me too I'm bored because we are playing with his dead corpse..

A few pages in and its really cool. The Empire get called the Imperial Remnant by Kes (reminiscent of the Eu anyone?), and the battle scene over the Imperial base was cool, as well as the brief cameo of Chewbacca.

OH AND LEIA HAD A FORCE VISION OF DARTH MAUL, or some lingering aspect of his force presence on Naboo in the hangar he appeared in that was closed up. Apparently, the queen of Naboo (current) is a good pilot as well

Well, Maul hasn't died yet, so it's possible that he's still around and this could be some sort of foreshadowing.

IDK. The hangar was sealed so she could be picking up on his darkside energies from the Phantom Menace or something. Its an interesting scene for sure. Next issue Luke might make an appearance as well, this comic has been better than the last few issues of Vader's

That doesn't say much. Vader's been boring. The Star Wars line is by far the best.

Also, I like seeing more glimpses into Leia's Force-sensitivity.

She's also wearing the same nose Anakin wore in AotC, which is a lot more noticeable.

Eh, he Force pushed a large group of Stormtroopers, deflected blasterfire and TK'd some thermal dets back, nothing big. The Stormtroopers also...used a gatling blaster gun?....I find that odd, but there it is...

I really enjoyed the series a lot more than I thought I would. I hope that Luke's appearance towards the end of the issue, means we'll see him in a future comic series. Marvel seems to be cranking out storylines here and there, and even something as simple as his mission in this issue would make for a good arc.

5/5 issue, and the ending was great.

Any Luke scans from the comic?

Just read it and I thought it was great. Luke may have been a little OC with that cheesy one-liner but that's a minor annoyance. Also cool to see those Emperor's Messengers again and to learn that they are indeed droids.
