Herc faces off against the following opponents. After each round he faces the new opponent & the previous opponent(s).

Herc

Vs

1. Blade
2. Luke Cage
3. Black Panther
4. Captain America (Rogers)
5. Iron Fist
6. Spider-Man
7. She-Hulk

Standard gear & weapons.

ShadowFyre
Herc could thunderclap and it should kill everybody here except 2 and 7 at the same time.

Stoic
Hercules wins but he would work for it. My reasoning is that in character, he wouldn't use deadly force against his friends. So at 7 things get extremely tricky for him.

Henry_Pym
Danny drops him.

Herc clears.

I guess I can use the Phoenix Pistol, Muramasa Blade, Iron Man Hydrosuit Mark II and other stuff for Wolverine then, too?

DarkSaint85
Standard gear, and Herc was carrying them round before Secret Wars occurred.

Whereas Wolverine.....wasn't.

StiltmanFTW
Mace is standard and even that shit he forgets to carry with him half the time.

DarkSaint85
You can't tell me what to do!!!

byrdgang21
I was under the impression that his Mace was standard gear.

This team is A LOT to overcome for a ground based CL100 brick.

Individually he'd slaughter any of them. Together it's a different story. Once he got to 6 it'd be lights out for him.

Spiderman, IF, and Panther can pester like there's no tomorrow. Cap throws his shield to LC and it starts getting ugly for Herc. You got to understand, Hercules has NOTHING going for him aside from CL100 strength and durability. Herc has no energy projection or flight to open up some space and pick them off one by one. Some of these guys have gone up against CL100 bricks and held their own for a while and others have legendary jobber auras.

Anyway, he really had all that equip right prior to SW? So he's used that gear for... 3+ years? Really?

And I missed it all somehow? Despite checking out the Ownage thread and other shit? embarrasment

It's standard, BUT Hercules hasn't been really seen or used since Avengers vs X-Men (2012) so that's why you haven't seen him much

After chaos war he became depowered and started to rely on those weapons. So most would be physically his superior (he's basically peak human now) but the weapons would be a huge help

'Cause it is. Normally.

Marvel did try to experiment with the character, though.

And failed.

"Spunky" mortal + magic weapons idea is fail.

The whole wannabe Deadpool slant on him was also fail.

They should bring back the Old Immortal Hercules with his adamantine mace and call it a day :

Makes sense now, yeah. So he went from overpowered "Supergod Herc" to a mortal.

Is cloak bulletproof, btw? Or what was it that protected him from bullets in DS' scans?

DarkSaint85
He was shot by the bullets.

He was just that hardcore that he continued to shoot his arrows after getting shot.

His shield turns people to stone, his sword cuts through anything (as does his arrows, which are also tipped with hydra blood), and he has a helmet that makes him invisible.

He also wore some body armour, was tanking punches and body slams from a class....whatever. (Kykynos).

He had his own 12 part mini series, tussled a bit with Elektra in it, then was seen In Avengers Academy and a few guest appearances here and there.

He is coming back after Secret Wars in his immortal form.

golem370
Spider-Man would or should tank Herc's thunderclap he survived a Gamma Raged Professor Hulk point blank range.

StiltmanFTW
Spider-Man is not tanking anything.

golem370
Well he didn't tank it but he didn't die or get k.o'ed by it

First arc will involve Gilgamesh the Forgotten One I think.

leonidas
he clears this with varying degrees of difficulty depending on how motivated he is.

Yeah, I got what you meant... just pointing out it was a very poor choice of words.

Tanking = no-selling. Example: Apocalypse vs. Scott's optic blasts, Superman vs. bullets, Sentry vs. acid bath, etc.
