Kotal ran like a b1tch from Sub-zero and the lin Kuei...uhuh Kotal had to do a lot of things for the sake of the plot, but realistically he could beat anyone in MK except maybe Raiden and Shinnok. Kotal was able to bind and restrain Cassie, Takashi, Jaqui and Kung Jin with a simple wave of his hand, he is hax when it comes to MK charaters

So the only old mk characters that still alive are Sub Zero, Scorpion, Liu Kang, Raiden, Jax, Sonya Blade, Johnny Cage, Ermac and Reptile, right?

Liu Kang is dead, also some characters from older MK games like Rain and Tanya are kicking, Tremor is alive although he was a very obscure character from an old spin off game.

So, If Liu Kang is dead, Scorpion is the replace as a main character in Mortal Kombat Series?

It's pretty much the Cage family whose the main characters now, or at least protagonists (Raiden aside), for better or worse. Was glad Johnny finally got his due but Cassie didn't really do it for me. Her beating a transformed Shinnok alone is still stupid.

We need a Sub-zero/Scorpion team up in the next game.

It's nice to heard Cage is the new Main Character on the series(replace Liu Kang)

He may be the main hero, but Scorpion and Sub Zero both supersede Liu Kang as far as being relevant in MK
