I am trying to find the title to a movie for my mother! She said she was about 15 when she watched it at her grandmothers house around 1975. It was an old black and white movie, she remembers the story line of a couple who travelled to their second home near the the ocean for a holiday. She said she recalls a scene where the ocean waves are hitting the cliff as the car drives along the coast. The wife was mean and she said it ended with the wife locking another woman in the cellar by moving a large piece of furniture over the trap door blocking her from getting out. As the credits rolled she said you could hear the banging of the trapdoor as this woman realizes she is locked down there until spring.
