Does anyone remember Tony telling Peter if Steve wanted to beat him in that fight he would have laid him out?

I think that was more Tony giving Cap his props and downplaying Spidey to keep him humble. He's in all honesty out of Cap's weight class going by feats.

Steve used skill, technique, and strength to throw him around. That jet bridge he dropped on him weighed about 27 tons. Spidey has said, as well as Tony that he's strong enough to stop a bus. He held together a ferry and moved dozens of tons of rubble, etc, etc, etc... Spidey's clearly stronger. If he hadn't held back, Cap would've been beat down.

Breh, they had a tug of war, and even though Steve had his back turned and Peter can stick to the ground, Cap overpowered Spider-man and pulled him towards himself. He sent him flying, in fact.
