Herc would never reach Hal if Hal didn't want him to. At least Namor can FLY and has other exotic powers that writers seem to forget about it when it suits them.

I've never seen a comic whete Hal just stands there. Equally i've never seen Hal fight non flyers by NOT engaging, either. Both theories are hella silly.
