Hello people of the KMC forum. I haven't been on here in quite a while and the amount of time I posted while I was here was brief so you may not remember me. In this thread I will be taking each character in the Star Wars Universe and listing their best feats as a reference point for myself and others. In this thread I will state my opinions and views on statements by content creators and certain force feats that you may or may not agree with. I ask you all to please be respectful of my stances. Contribution of feats for characters is appreciated.

Now that the introduction is out of the way let's get to our first character. Darth Vader.

The first section will deal with Vader's telekinetic feats. I will attempt to research his feats to get the most accurate sense of Vader's power but at times estimations will need to be used throughout the thread. All feats Vader achieved as Anakin will be ignored for the purposes of this thread. All sources used for this thread will be credited below.

Thank you friend. Do you know where I can create a reference thread for myself and others that I can edit at all times rather then just iwhtin a 15 minute timeframe?

These 'reference threads' already exist , en masse. They're called Respect Threads.

I wanted to put rankings on here so you could directly cross reference feats in one place without having to search all over the internet and find out exactly why one character was superior to another in a certain category. It would be like a less fan wanky version of some respect threads and more about facts and evidence. Along with that it would cover all Star Wars characters not just one.

Do you know how I can do that or is it not possible on the KMC forums?

I think that you should restrict top feats of each character to 2 at maximum. In this manner, you won't have to post lot of content and it would be easier for you to make a list for reference.

The name of the thread should be changed to reference guide as my intent for it changed midway through to simply posting high end feats for said characters.

Do you know of a way for me to create a thread like this where I can edit it any anytime on the KMC forums or do the forums not have a feature that allows something like that?

Editing is time-restricted on KMC on the whole, if I am not mistaken.

You would need to make a new post for each contribution to the original post unless you make a single long post. However, a single post also have word-cap.

Ah darn. Now I can't even change this misfit title. :P I guess I'll compile a reference guide on Comic Vine then. Or do you think I should simply ask a mod to allow me to reedit this thread add as much as I can and post in installments as I reach the word count for each?

You can request a moderator to edit the title of this thread per your liking.

As for the posts, you can make new posts if you exceed cap of a single post. Nobody is likely to complain.

As for the effort, it is entirely on you. IMO, this is good topic and can be used as a quick reference to check the best feats of each characters while discussing them in other threads.

If you want to make this contribution on comicvine, be my guest. I have membership in that source too. smile

Alright thanks for the advice. Do you know where I request something from the mods like this?

Welcome.

Send a PM to a moderator of your choice and mention the link of this thread in it. I find Badabing active in general, he is cooperative as well.

Thanks again man. This'll be a large project but I'm excited to create something useful for the community. smile

Alright I've spoken to a mod and they've agreed to edit the title in the thread and only leave the first paragraph. What I'll do from now on is cover each character one at a time and only post until I'm either finished with the character or the word count for that post is full.
