Guess it depends on which showing of the Crew you use. In some cases they absorb energy, especially from asgardian powers (which is where absorbing man got his powers from)

Am is much more powerful than the rest. He'd kick their ass like they were Scotsmen.

AM has the power set to solo the crew. Whether or not that he is smart enough, that's another thing. Didn't want to make it Earth X AM.
