I don't see why Luke shouldn't be, son of the Chosen One who could surpass Palpatine and all that noise.

Tbh, not seeing how he could be considered overpowered if it's something that is noted about him and how quickly he progressed. Even through just the movies you see that.

But then I see overpowered as something, character gains sudden power because reasons. Luke at least has to work at it and even in Legends he did so.
