If we're going by destiny, Mordru is destined to survive forever.

The Serpent's defeat involved some reality warping shit. IIRC kid loki using twilight's shadow reality warping abilities implanted a weakness in Serpent's previous background history so that Thor, with the Odin-sword, could beat him.

He beats Mordru imo.
